KDC Membership

Here at Katoomba Dental Centre, one of our main treatment focuses is preventive dentistry. We are dedicated to helping you achieve a beautiful healthy mouth and maintaining it. We have taken note that often patients will have come for restorative treatment and neglect their preventative treatment. This in turn can create further work for the patient! We realise it can be easy to put off regular dental care, especially when you have unexpected expenses.

We have put together this new strategy for helping you and your families afford better dental care and a healthier smile.

Quality and Affordable Dental Cover

With your Dental Benefits Membership you can spread the cost of your routine examinations and cleans over the course of a year and then have nothing to pay on the day of your appointment. This way you are less likely to neglect your preventative care, and hopefully reduce the need for further treatment in the future.

Because this is not a dental insurance, or scheme with some third party company, there’s no benefit limits, no treatment exclusions, no waiting period, no claiming rebates, and not confusion!

Already belong to a Health Fund?

Great! You are able to benefit twice with our Membership and your Health Insurance. Having Health Insurance will only affect your regular examinations and cleans. You will be given the option to take your receipts and claim your rebate yourself through online or postal claiming, or we will credit your account with us by whatever amount your Health Fund pays for your treatment, leaving a credit you can use at any time with us.

All discounts and benefits associated with your membership are calculated before your Health Fund’s rebate, but subtracted from your bill after your Rebate has been processed. This allows for your Health Fund to pay you the maximum amount and leave you with as small a gap to pay as possible.

Basic Membership

10% Discount on all treatments (some treatments excluded, see Terms and Conditions) 10% Discount on all Dental Products
Perio Patient Includes: All the same as basic Membership		$600 per year
Denture Patient Includes: Only 1x Routine checkup and clean. Discounts are same as Basic Membership. Additional costs for repair or removal of fixed prosthesis may apply. Not applicable for parital denture wearers (unless prior approval granted)		$125 per year
Add-ons
Extra Routine Check-up, scale clean, polish and fluoride treatment		$180 per year
Extra Perio Maintenance appointment		$250 per year
Extra Implant/Denture Maintenance appointment		$125 per year
Exlusions for all Membership types Facial injectable Treatments, including TMJ treatment Teeth Whitening treatment, including take home teeth whitening treatments Discounts on treatment already discounted by the practice for promotions or packages. Whichever is the greater discount you will receive.
