What Is Facial Rejuvenation?

If you’re unhappy with the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other facial aesthetics, we may be able to help.

Your dentist in Katoomba offers a variety of facial rejuvenation treatments designed to combat the signs of ageing and provide a more youthful appearance.

Our therapies may include muscle relaxants and dermal fillers. These treatments, administered in the facial area, may improve or reestablish a more youthful look to the face and lips.

Why a Dentist for Facial Rejuvenation?

Dentists are trained to be maxillofacial experts and have a keen understanding of facial anatomy. And dentists who administer dermal fillers and relaxants take on additional coursework and study as well.

Our board-certified dentists at Katoomba Dental Centre can provide customised treatments for you, which may help change the contours of your skin and give you a more youthful appearance.

We administer injectables with a fine needle. Patients have said that it feels more like a minor stinging sensation than a needle poke.

Related Treatments

Additionally, we can use injectables to help in the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction—often called TMJ or TMD. Specific injectables may also help in the treatment of migraines and bruxism.

TMJ or TMD means the joint that connects your jaw to your skull is not functioning correctly. It may cause pain, lock up, and even make a clicking noise when the mouth is open. If this condition is not treated, you may experience chronic headaches and difficulty sleeping due to discomfort.

Bruxism means you clench and grind your teeth while asleep, and this condition is sometimes associated with TMJ/TMD.
