Clear aligners, such as ClearCorrect® or Invisalign® in Katoomba, work by gradually moving misaligned teeth into straight positions. In our dental clinic, we use ClearCorrect to fix the following orthodontic issues:
- Crowded, crooked, overlapping, and twisted teeth
- Gaps or unusual spacing between teeth
- Bite misalignment, including the overbite
ClearCorrect is virtually invisible, and you can remove your aligners for oral hygiene and meals.
How ClearCorrect Works
First, you visit our dental clinic for an orthodontic assessment. We’ll determine whether ClearCorrect can address your orthodontic needs. During this visit, we set aside time to answer your questions and address your concerns. We’ll let you know what to expect during treatment and after. A team member will also break down your treatment costs and how long you’ll be in treatment.
Your dentist takes impressions of your teeth and sends the results to ClearCorrect for the fabrication of your aligners. You wear each set in the series according to your dentist’s schedule, usually changing them every few weeks.
Over time, you’ll notice your teeth moving into straighter positions.
After treatment, we provide a retainer to ensure retention.
