What is restorative dentistry?

Restorative dentistry is any treatment designed to repair or restore your smile. Restorations may include dental crowns, tooth-coloured fillings, porcelain veneers, same-day restorations, or other. It may also be that we’re repairing your smile through tooth replacement—dental implants, a dental bridge, or dentures.

Our dentists in Katoomba, NSW, offer a wide range of dental restorations to ensure ongoing smile health. The restorations are always customised for your smile and to match the colour of any remaining untreated teeth.

Caring for Restorations

Dental crowns, fillings, veneers, and implants require only brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups for health and longevity.

A dental bridge should be cleaned daily with a special brush or floss threader. A denture, for the best results, should be soaked overnight in a denture bath. You can add a cleaning tablet to the bath and use denture paste and a brush for daily prosthetic scrubs.

Even if you have full-mouth restorations, you must continue visiting your Katoomba dentist regularly.

For Restorations, We Welcome Your Call

Restorations help prevent tooth loss or replace teeth whilst restoring function. We encourage you to contact our dental clinic to learn more or arrange a consultation with the dentist.

We proudly serve Katoomba, Blue Mountains, Leura, Wentworth Falls, and your neighbourhood.
