Frequently Asked Questions

Dentures in Katoomba are time-tested tooth replacements. And most patients are excellent candidates for this type of prosthetic.

We offer various denture options to meet the needs of our patients, including:

  • Partial dentures
  • Full dentures
  • Implant-supported dentures

Your dentist will talk to you more about the options during your initial consultation, as well as whether dentures are a suitable tooth replacement for you. At this first look, we may take x-rays or perform specific exams to ensure your candidacy. We also answer your questions and address any concerns.

In some cases, we may recommend pretreatments. For example, if you’re considering complete dentures, we will have to extract any remaining teeth. If you’re considering a partial denture, your dentist will ensure the integrity of the supporting teeth and may need to remove one or more if they are not healthy enough to support a partial denture.

Full dentures stand in for complete tooth loss. Partials take over only where teeth are missing. Implant-supported dentures rely on four to six dental implants for a stable option.

Are You Considering Dentures in Katoomba?

If you’re considering tooth replacement, we encourage you to arrange a consultation with the dentist. We also recommend looking into our current specials and membership plan for potential savings on your dental care.

We are happy to serve all locales, including Katoomba, the Blue Mountains, Leura and Yosemite.
